Happy St. Patty's day to you all! I wonder who will have the luck of the Irish and who will get chased out with the snakes. It will all happen right before your eyes in a mind numbing, one hour results show. Why can't they put these things back to 30 minutes?

Well, it's our second week of eliminations and Danny Gokey is the guest performer.Yay. My life is now complete. All of my regular readers will know how much I loved Gokey last year.

We're back! Katelyn is safe. Crystal is safe. Siobhan is safe. Haeley and Lacey are last. Which one will go home and which one will kill another song next week?

And Haeley is history!! Too bad VFTW! I wonder who they will pick next week.

I spent some time today reading the Idol blogs that I like to read and I've come to a few conclusions:

1. Adam had a bad night (it wasn't just me)

2. Adam on a bad night was still better than Danny on a good night

3. Kris had the best song of the evening with "Heartless"

4. Some people put "One" next and some people like "Cryin'" better. Either way, Adam's songs were 2nd and third best of the night

5. Four judges are too many

6. We are all tired of the judges trying to make the show about them

7. "You are so Beautiful" was NOT a vocal master class (WTF, Simon?!?!)

8. Many people would like to bash Kara in the head with a microphone

9. Danny should NEVER dance

10. Only one person heard the same bum note that Paula did during "Apologize"

11. Overall, it was a good show

That being said, it's time to get rid of one of these guys and begin the wrap-up of this, the eighth season of American Idol!!!

We head straight to the Ford video and it kinda sucks...like most of the Ford videos this year. I did laugh at Danny's "cartoon power". It reminded me of Moses!

Alicia Keyes is on the show to talk about Keep a Child Alive and is asking us for $5.00 to help the kids. Noah, a kid from Africa is singing a song. Cute kid.

Danny is asked to join Ryan on the stage. They talk about seeing Jamar again and then show his homecoming footage. I wonder if they'll show the train wreck that was "Billie Jean". Danny's female stalker kept her clothes on. Big crowd!

My Uncle Neal said that he thought she was going to be a one hit wonder with "I Kissed a Girl". I told him that "Waking Up in Vegas" was awesome...I was right!

With the advancement of Ty Murray on Dancing With The Stars and Danny turning in one of the worst Idol performances EVER, will America send Danny packing thus making this the BEST. REALITY TV WEEK. EVER? I hope so! That would be fabulous. I really want an Adam/Allison/Kris final three and then an Adam/Allison finale. If that happens, I'll know that Idol loves me back!

Before we get going, this is your last chance to run away if you don't want to be spoiled. I'm doing this live from the East Coast as fast as I can. Results shows are much easier to live blog than performance shows so I should be able to keep up with real time...most of the time.

Tonight we get No Doubt, Chris Daughtry, and Paula Abdul before we find out if Danny is going home. Will this filler crap ever end?!?!

The Ford commercial sucked. Why are they relying so heavily on computers for the commercials this year?

Slash and his band (it looks like) are on stage playing for the group sing. The kids are doing School's Out by Alice Cooper. I know it's by Alice Cooper because is says so on my Guitar Hero game. Slash reminds me of why I will NEVER get to expert on that game (Hard it's too shabby though). Over all, I liked it! I love Rock and Roll and this songs Rocks! Adam and Allison were awesome. Kris was barely noticeable and Danny did almost as bad with this song as he did last night. Danny, you can't take Rock song to church. Please stop trying. Slash really looks like the Guitar Hero cartoon.

We're back. Ryan chats with the kids. Adam liked his outfit from last night. Danny talks about not hitting the note at the end. He takes it well and thinks it was really funny. His Aunt hit mute during that. Allison talks about sassing Simon.

I was behind for a little bit due to the Ford commercial and the group sing but Paula's craptastic performance caught me back up! Yeah Paula!

No Doubt with Just A Girl. I don't know if it's live because the kids are gone and so are the judges. This is way confusing. It looks lip synced in parts but in other parts it doesn't. What gives? I didn't like that at all and I LOVE No Doubt. I guess it is live. Very odd.

I found out that No Doubt and Paula were recorded last night. The No Doubt performance is still bothering me. Let me know if it bothered you.

We're back! The kids are standing back stage. Ryan reminds of that the final three get to go home for a day of celebration. I still wish I would have driven down to Richmond for Elliott's homecoming. OH! They just showed it!! I still love him! I need to get his new CD.

I've been chatting with friends on Facebook and I've come to the following conclusion about tonight. I'm happy, sad, pissed and ambivalent all at the same time!

Considering all but one of the kids sang a ballad, it's a given that a balladeer is going home. I'm thinking it's going to be Matt. DialIdol puts Matt, Kris and Allison in the bottom three. If it's Allison, the judges better use that damn save thing!

I hope everyone (in the US) submitted their taxes. My hubby and I had to pay in!! It really sucked. I'm fixing that tomorrow. I will not pay in next year.

One with the show and more Quentin. He looks goofy but I like him! Kill Bill Vol. One was great (I'm not so sure about Vol. 2). I was very glad that the baby ended up being alive. Quentin thinks he knows who is going to leave. I wonder if he has inside info?

Ford Commercial so soon? Yuck! Mainly computer effects.

The group sing is to Maniac from Flash Dance. Who's idea was that? Turns out it was a good idea...if you love an extra cheesy group sing!! It was great! I did feel bad for Kris starting out singing "Just a Steel Town girl on a Saturday Night." LOL!!!! Allison sneaking up on Simon was pretty good too. I forgot all about Danny until he started singing. Was it my favorite group sing" No but it was better than most of them from the past weeks.

Ryan chats with Adam about Quentin and Allison about the premiere of "17 Again". I think they made the kids wear what they wore to perform in to the premiere. The star, Zak, is in the house wearing a very stupid looking hat.

Ryan starts with Allison and she is safe. They aren't pulling a George Huff this year. Interesting. Adam is next and is safe!!!!!!!!!! Woooooo Hooooooo!

Anoop is next and after Ryan tortures him, he is in the bottom three...again. Could this be his week to go home?

Jennifer Hudson is next. It's still so sad about her family. They didn't mention that by the way. I just can't help but thinking about it whenever I see her. I'm really not liking her performance. She is using her hands way too much for one. Also, if your song relies on background singer, they should really be on the stage too. I think this was prerecorded. She's about a foot taller than Ryan. Well, maybe not a whole foot but at least half a foot.

Back to business. Next is Kris and Lil together. After the recaps, it's Lil in the bottom and Kris is safe. I really don't like Lil's new hair. I think it should have a name. How about Little Lil?

Mat and Danny are next and it's Matt in the bottom three. Like anyone in America thought that Danny was in the bottom.

So, it's Anoop, Lil, and Matt in the bottom three. I still think it's going to be Matt packing his bags but it should be Lil. Kara thinks its the right group and so does Paula. The first person safe is Anoop!!!

It's between Matt and Lil but we have to see Miley first and I'm watching real time. Maybe I'll like Miley. It could happen...in a parallel universe. That is horrible! She can't sing. Why the hell are people buy her CDs? There was one phrase that was total gibberish. It was pitchy, twangy and nasally all at once. I guess I'm too old to get it and that is completely fine with me!

Simon says that he might consider using the save for one of them (Lil or Matt) and we'd be surprised by which one it was. I'm guessing it would be Matt since Simon starting throwing Lil under the bus when Allison was getting her comments.

Lil and Matt...which one will be going home...Matt. I called it!

Matt has to sing that crappy song again. During which, Paula and Kara dance and sing a long while Randy and Simon pretend to discuss using the save. Will they save him?

Simon just told Matt that he doesn't have a chance of winning but they save him anyway!

Two people are going home next week and next week is DISCO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is that day of the week (a day late) again. The day when someone's dreams are crushed.

I'm starting a little late but it doesn't really matter. There is so much filler, I could start at 8:50 and still get done in time. Ryan recaps last night for us after chatting with the judges and reminding us that the judges can save someone if they want to. Considering it's most likely Scott, Michael, and Megan in the bottom three, I don't think they will be exercising that option tonight. Then, the now no-fun group lip-sync. Only one word: YUCK. At the end, they didn't even bother to hold mics.

They didn't know he was blind until tonight. Anyway, back to the results. It's Scott in the bottom! Megan lives to sing another week. Damn Vote For the Worst!! LOL

Good evening everyone and welcome to the unbelievable filler hour that is the American Idol Results show. I'm blogging on the east coast so if you're in a different time zone and don't want to know who goes home before the show airs where you live, go way and come back later.

First, a few random things.

I'd like to give a shout-out to the person who visited my blog from Noble Park, Victoria, Australia! Is it nice there?

I blogged about a friend of mine that is in the new TV show Castle. The show is good but something in the last show is bugging me. How did the murderer (a small 20-something girl) put the dead body (also a small 20-something girl) into the laundromat dryer feet first? Did you watch it?

Also, I love comments! *hint-hint*

Onto Idol! I have some more thoughts on Adam's performance. I watched it a few more times today and it just gets better. He can hit some amazing notes! Also, he was the only one who did something original and he was true to himself. Before everyone gets up in arms about him not being original because it was a cover of a cover of Ring of Fire. To explain, "original" on Idol in my book means something I haven't heard before and I NEVER heard what Adam sang before in my life.

One more comment about last night. Where was Scott's much cuter brother? I missed seeing him last night. I hope they bring him back next week.

Ryan starts the show on the big steps with the kids. I wonder what the group sing is going to be like tonight. I'm hoping for more Hot N Cold greatest! There were over 31 million votes. Cue dramatic recap of last night. Yawn.

It's T-R-O-U-B-L-E! What is up with the damn lip-syncing?!?!?! I HATE IT!!! One word: disappointing.

We're back from break. It's time for the Ford commercial and it's a water balloon fight. We get to see the goodbye dinner for Jorge and Jasmine and it's making me cry. For the second week in a row, Michael gets extra pimping time to remind us that he has a little girl at home that misses him.

Ryan asks Danny to stand and he is safe. Lil is next and she is safe. It's Anoop's turn and he is safe. Anoop!!!! Allison and Michael are both asked to stand. After the recap of last night, Allison is in the bottom three and Michael is also in the bottom three. I think it's Michael getting the big boot.

Back to finding the third one to fill out the bottom three. Scott is up next and is safe. Megan is up next and gets a big yell from the crowd. She's safe. VFTW is VERY happy. Matt is up and back down because he's safe. Kris gets his turn to stand and he's on the tour. It's down to Alexis and Adam. After the recaps, it's Alexis that joins the other two in the bottom and the AWESOME Adam is safe and on tour! You can celebrate on the west coast!!!

Ryan calls the bottom three to the middle and sends Allison back to the couch! YAY! She's safe and on the tour. Michael and Alexis get to sweat it out during a commercial break and the Randy and Carrie duet at a minimum.

I don't think they put a mirror in Carrie's dressing room because I don't know why she wore that dress and what's up with her hair? It was pretty good but it's one of my favorite songs so it would have to be pretty bad for me not to like it. There is one thing that's bothering me. It really shouldn't have been called a duet because it was more like "I Told You So by Carrie Underwood featuring Randy Travis".

We find out that the judges would considering using their Save to save one of the two in the bottom. I think that's kinda sucky that they said that. No matter what the judges do, one person is going to know they weren't worthy of saving.

Ryan tells us that Michael is safe!! No way!!! Alexis is on the chopping block!!! Simon is thinking about saving her. She is singing for her life while the judges talk. No pressure, Alexis.

She did better last night.

The judges are not going to save her.

Michael should have gone home.

The Pres is going to be on TV next Tuesday so Idol will be on Wednesday and Thursday again. I PROMISE that I will NOT play poker that night! Scouts honor!

Tonight the send two people packing. My money is on Jorge and Jasmine (since Megan had VFTW help). But before we begin with the 55 minutes worth of filler, I want to tell you about a new TV show called Castle. It just started. The first show was after Dancing With The Stars and it was great! I do have to say that I might be just a little biased. I went to high school with one of the cast members. Jon Huertas (not his name in school) plays Javier Esposito a NYPD detective. I thought he did a damn fine job! Please, check it out! Oh! Here's my friend's picture.



Ryan reminds us that they are sending two people packing tonight and that there's some big twist that will change everything. Ryan begins by reminding us that Michael Johns, Jennifer Hudson and Chris Daughtry all left the competition too early. With that in mind, Ryan introduces the "Judges Save". Up until the top 5, the judges can save one contestant from elimination. It's only once and all the judges have to agree. If the "Judge's Save" is used one week no one is eliminated but the next week, two go home. Well, that's not as bad as I thought it was going to be. I doubt they will use their save tonight. It's way too early for that.

We then get to see where the kids are staying. It is HUGE!!! Yet they still have to share bedrooms.

The group sing is a medley not just Thriller...bummer. I think their lip-syncing again. Scott is still very funny! That's not very nice of me to say...but it's true! That wasn't near as entertaining as last week.

We're back, just in time for a recap from last night...fast forward.

It the Ford Video to "We Will Rock You". All blue screen stuff...boring.

Dim the lights and we're starting with Michael. He's safe. Allison is next and she is safe! YAY!! I was worried after looking at DialIdol. Jasmine is next and is asked to stand in the middle of the stage. Matt is safe. Kris is next and is asked to stand. Megan is then asked to stand. After all that, Kris is safe and Megan goes with Jasmine. Ryan tells them that one is safe and one is going home. Megan "Caw! Caw!" Corkrey is safe and Jasmine is going home...unless the judges save her. We now get to hear her sing again...fast forward. Randy tells Jasmine that she is indeed headed home. One down, one to go. Ryan talks to her a little too close. Now it's Jasmine funeral footage to Carrie Underwood's new single "Home Sweet Home", a remake of the Motley Crue hit.

Now we're treated to a performance to of Kayne West and "Heartless". I'm not a fan so I'm going to fast forward.

Well, now I've caught up with real time... yet another bummer for me tonight.

Scott is asked to stand and is told he is safe. Even Scott saw that coming! Alexis is next and is told she is safe! Good! I like her. Danny is next and I'm not even waiting for the verdict. He's safe. Anoop is given his recap and starts to go to the center of the stage before Ryan asks him to. Poor guy. Adam is next and he is safe...of course! All the CA people reading this blog will love the screaming that comes from the audience during Adam's part! Lil and Jorge are left and it is Jorge that joins Anoop on the stage and may be going home tonight.

Anoop and Jorge get to stew while Kelly Clarkson performs. She's pretty funny. I like her. She is doing "My Life Would Suck Without You." Good song. Very catchy! She does a really great job and looks like she is loving life!

Anoop and Jorge are back in the middle. Ryan tells them that Anoop is SAFE!!!!!! Jorge might be going home unless the judges save him, which I don't think they will. Jorge gets to sing again. I won't miss his eyebrows. After he sings Simon tells him that he is indeed going home.

See you Jasmine. See you Jorge. Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

I wonder what the theme will be next week. Any thoughts?

Is it just me or does the new format make it seem like we are still in the audition phase? Well, whatever is going on, it is taking FOREVER! I want the old format back.

One thing that I am looking forward to is the group number tonight with Scott. Is that wrong?

Simon should just shave his head because that haircut is TERRIBLE!

The bad thing about the hour long results show is that it's 10% good stuff and 90% filler. I really bad thing is that I'm live blogging so I can't fast forward!

That has got to be the BEST (worst) group sing EVER!!! Since Scott is blind, they decided to have all the guys sit on one of the couches for most of the song. Actually, Scott stays seated the entire time. Does this mean that they just sat there and sang? NOOOOO! They had moves they had to do like all crossing their legs, snapping their fingers, all looking one way and then looking the other. OMG! I am going to save this and burn it to a DVD. It was pure cheesy gold!!! I laughed harder then I did during Nick/Normund! Once the video is up, I'm posting it here.

Why the hell didn't the girl in the "Special Idol Moment" make it? That was a great version of the Jefferson's theme.

Lil is asked to stand. Well, that's a switch having the shoe-in first. And she is in the top 12. Duh.

Arania, Taylor, Alex, Kendall and Scott are all asked to stand. One of them is in the top 12. We find out after the break. (Psst! It's Scott.)

We're back and Arianna is out. Taylor is out. Alex is out. Kendell is out. Scott is in. Duh.

At least they are keeping the one that is up in the air until last.

Ryan says that all the people in the red room have a shot at the wild card as well as all the people on the couches. That's odd. I just double checked and Idol is scheduled for a one hour show tomorrow. I KNOW that all of those people can't sing in an hour. I looked at the people in the red room and I saw NICK!!!!!! YAY!!!!

We're back. The remaining three spots are going to be picked by the judges tomorrow. Out of all the people in the red room (which looks like almost everyone), the judges are going to pick 8 that are going to perform tomorrow.
