Brillante!!!

ALRIGHT!!! I was nominated for my first web award yesterday by my friend Jessica of Ten Squares Three Squiggles. I love reading her blog. She is married and they have a wonderful son that happens to have been born with Down Syndrome. She writes about their life and the struggles and surprises that go along with it.

Thank you so much, Jessica! I am flattered and will now pass on the honor per the following requirements:
1. The winner can (and should, really) put the logo on his/her blog.
2. The winner must link to the person from whom they received their award.
3. The winner must nominate at least 7 other blogs for an award.
4. The winner must place links to those blogs on their own blog.
5. The winner must leave a message on the blogs of the people they’ve nominated.

And here are my nominees:
1. My Lady of the Facebook: MP at My Second Journal
2. Queen of Pop: Beckeye at The Pop Eye
3. Techno Master: Archshrk at...well Archshrk
4. Prince of Pop Culture: Malcolm at Pop Culture Dish
5. Photographer Extraordinaire: Carmi at Written Inc.
6. Lord of the Dance and the Idol: Dave at High Lord Dave
7. The Queen of Cake Snark: Jen at Cake Wrecks

Please visit all the blogs listed above.

OH! Be sure to read the Cake Wrecks Blog and not just look at the pictures.

Update: Blogger has still not released my other blog yet. They say they are reviewing it. How long does it take to review a two post blog?

Thank you My Lady..did you notice I freed you? I put some information on your knighwall...

I put my post up!!

You are much too kind. Thank you so much for this...you've completely made my day!

(Love your template, btw. I've been mulling over two things - moving to a straightforward 3-column template and then shifting the whole thing over to my new domain...sigh, all I need is time!)

Why, thank you! I'm always happy about these at first and then I realize that I have to go and play favorites with my own blogroll. Maybe I'll do my usual cop-out and give the award to everyone. :)

And hey...your monikers for Malcolm and I make it sound like he's the spawn of my love child with Michael Jackson. Yikes. Well, as long as I got it on with Mike back in the "Thriller" days, when he was still cute, that's okay. And, of course, I would have been right in his preferred age bracket back then. Wrong sex, though.
