Sanjaya Fever!

It's official! I have Sanjaya Fever! Since his last performance, I have been doing a lot of reading on the net. Vote for the Worst is the best. They get a ton of hate mail that is too funny. Just reading it makes me want to vote for Sanjaya. Here's a sample of one of the email:

WARNING CONTAINS STRONG LANGUAGE

Go fuck your mothers, twats. There are actually contestants on American Idol who are talented...and who deserve to be discovered. EXAMPLE: Stephanie Edwards, from my hometown! Thanks to fuckers like you, Stephanie is home and Sanjaya fucking Malakar stays....go fuck your mothers. You're all on my hit list.

Is this any way to win an argument? I can see myself using this approach with my boss. That would go over like a fart in church! Also, millions of people watch the show and I'm sure that the good singers will get recording contracts anyway. Just look at Chris from last year. His album is out selling last year's winner by about 4 to 1 and he came in forth. Paris, Kelly, Buckey, Mandissa, and Elliott (my favorite) from last year all have albums out. And "hit list?" Is this girl a professional killer? Is she going to hunt down Dave and put a cap in his ass? I don't think so.

JUST BECAUSE YOU COULDN'T GET ONTO AMERICAN IDOL BECAUSE YOU CAN'T SING AND YOUR JEALOUS!! AS YOU CAN SEE ONLY STUPID LIKE THIS MESSED UP WEBSITE BECAUSE THEY ALSO HAVE A BORING LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!

First of all, the caps lock key is your friend, use it! Second, spell check doesn't correct words that are spelled right but are not the word you wanted (it's sense not since). And finally, since when is voting for the person you want to win anti-American? Isn't being an American about doing what you want to do and voting for who you want to vote for? Of course, if you ask a Republican you might get a different answer. (Ha Ha! That was a joke.)

VFTW also gets threatened with lawsuits numerous time a day. That just doesn't make sense (or since if your Beth). How can you sue someone for trash talking celebrities? If that was the case, the National Enquirer wouldn't have lasted one issue.

One thing that I know for sure is that the people to "blame" for Sanjaya getting this far are the producers of American Idol. No one else can be held responsible. They let him get this far. He shouldn't really have made it to the top 24 if you ask me. American Idol is not a show to find the best singer in America. It a show to make money. The higher the ratings the better. If you can kind of sing, have big boobs, and your parents died in a horrible car accident when you were 3, you've got an excellent shot at making it to the top 24. No back story and you better have a voice that will blow anybody out of the water in 30 seconds.

If you decide to vote either for or against Sanjaya, I recommend you download the DialIdol software. It's speed dialing software. You can also use it to vote for Dancing With The Star, So You Think You Can Dance and other call in voting shows. It's awesome. I get in about 500 votes a night.
