This holiday weekend brought to wild animals out in my neck of the woods. Not lions and tigers but there were bears! This guy climbed up a tree in town. He got down by himself and wandered out of town without any help.



My husband told me about one that got stuck in a tree in PA and had to be shot down (with a tranquilizer).

AND on Saturday, my husband and I spotted one on the side of the road after we passed through this.



Pretty cool! It's Sideling Hill in Maryland.

I've had never seen a bear in the wild before. I was a little shocked. I guess there was a part of me that didn't really believe they existed outside of zoos.
